WinCID v 1.4 Release Notes This program is shareware! Please read the online help for registration information. WinCID is a multimedia program which allows you to use the Caller ID (CID) capabilities of your modem to monitor the origin of incoming calls. WinCID will display the telephone number from which the call originated, the time the call was placed, and the date on which it was placed. If your telephone company encodes name information into the signal, WinCID will display the name of the owner of the telephone number from which the call was placed. Otherwise, you may attach a name to a telephone number for your convenience. WinCID can even keep your computer's clock updated! To install WinCID, merely make a directory for WinCID, and copy the package files (wincid.exe, wincid.hlp, wincid.txt and order.txt) into that directory. You can add an icon to your program manager groups by dragging the wincid.exe file from File Manager to any active Program Manager group, or by picking File | New | New Program Item from the Program Manager menu, and then browsing to select the wincid.exe file.
